The 3 Seeds That Cannot Be Missing From a Woman’s Routine to Balance Hormones Naturally

Today I’m here in my seed corner, and I want to talk about three seeds that honestly cannot be missing from my daily routine. I’ve already made several videos about these seeds here on the channel, but I truly believe it’s always worth reinforcing which seeds you need to have in your life to help naturally balance your hormones.

These seeds are part of my daily routine, they never run out at home. And while we’re chatting here, I’m also enjoying my cacao drink — if you follow my channel, you already know how much I love cacao. There’s no shortage of videos where I talk about it.

This video is being posted in the morning because that’s when I’m recording it. I hope you enjoy this more relaxed format — without heavy editing — because today I want to talk calmly and clearly about these three seeds and why they make so much sense for you, especially if you’re a woman.

Before we go deeper, let me introduce myself.
I’m Nutri Vanessa Gaudiano, a nutritionist and phytotherapy specialist. My entire journey started from pain — and maybe that’s exactly why you’re here too. You probably reached a point where you thought:

“I need to balance my hormones naturally. I don’t feel well anymore. I feel weak, inflamed, in pain.”

Sometimes you go out with friends, eat something simple, and when you get home you already feel unwell. The next day you wake up swollen, tired, without energy.
I understand exactly what you’re feeling — because I’ve felt it myself.

I live with rheumatoid arthritis, and that’s where the real power of seeds comes in.

Seeds have a very strong anti-inflammatory action in the body. In my case, rheumatoid arthritis has affected my joints so severely that I even have difficulty moving one of my arms due to calcification. And I can’t allow the same thing to happen to the rest of my body.

Many people don’t know this, but rheumatoid arthritis is different from osteoarthritis. Osteoarthritis involves joint degeneration and loss of movement. Rheumatoid arthritis, in addition to joint inflammation and degeneration, can also affect organs like the heart, lungs, eyes, and even the retina.

That realization scared me — and it’s what led me to change my lifestyle deeply.

I noticed that the more seeds I added to my routine, the better I felt:

  • Less bloating
  • Better digestion
  • More energy
  • Less inflammation

And I didn’t notice this only in myself, but also in my patients.

I’m a nutritionist who loves cacao, loves tea, and loves seeds. This is not a store — this is my personal seed corner, where I use my seeds every single day. And these three seeds are easy to use, simple to incorporate, and make an enormous difference in your day.

They improve your energy, your quality of life, your mood — you literally feel like another person.

To keep this content objective, I’ll go straight to the point.

1. Ground Flaxseed (My Favorite)

I’ll start with the one I love the most — but that doesn’t mean the others are less important.

This is ground flaxseed. It can be golden or brown — if you have brown flaxseed at home, that’s perfectly fine. Golden flaxseed has a milder flavor, which makes it easier to use in shakes and juices.

I work extensively with phytotherapy, using juices, shakes, and functional shots because they are one of the easiest ways to balance hormones naturally.

Flaxseed should always be ground, because whole flaxseed passes through the digestive system without releasing its nutrients. You can grind a larger batch at home — enough for 15 to 30 days — and store it properly.

Flaxseed is not a fruit, so it doesn’t oxidize quickly. You don’t need to grind it every day. Grinding once every two weeks is completely safe and practical.

Inside flaxseed we have:

  • Natural omega-3 (ALA)
  • Powerful lignans (phytoestrogens)

Phytoestrogens are natural plant compounds that help regulate hormones. And yes — men can consume flaxseed too. The body is intelligent: it uses what it needs.

For women, especially after 40, flaxseed plays a crucial role in hormonal balance, inflammation control, and intestinal health.

Recommended amount:
👉 1 tablespoon per day, always within a structured nutritional plan.

2. Chia Seeds

Chia seeds are not ground — they are hydrated.

When chia absorbs water, it forms a gel that helps:

  • Clean the intestines
  • Improve bowel movements
  • Increase satiety
  • Reduce fat absorption

Chia is the seed that provides the greatest feeling of fullness.

If your goal is weight loss, here’s a simple strategy:

  • Add 1 tablespoon of chia to a glass of water
  • Let it hydrate for at least 10 minutes (ideally overnight)
  • Drink it before meals

This helps you eat less naturally, without forcing restriction.

Chia is also excellent before social events, because it reduces hunger and prevents overeating.

3. Sesame Seeds (Calcium Powerhouse)

Sesame seeds contain more calcium than any other seed.

They are essential for:

  • Bone strength
  • Joint health
  • Prevention of osteoporosis
  • Support for women over 40 and 50

Like flaxseed, sesame must be ground to release its nutrients. When ground, it becomes a soluble fiber that nourishes the body and supports digestion.

If you suffer from joint pain, arthritis, osteoarthritis, or simply want to preserve mobility as you age, sesame seeds are fundamental.

How Much to Use?

  • 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon per seed per day
  • Adjust amounts if you have conditions like diverticulitis, colitis, or irritable bowel syndrome
  • In sensitive cases, seeds should be hydrated or consumed in shakes

These three seeds — flaxseed, chia, and sesame — are the foundation of hormonal balance for women, especially during perimenopause and menopause.

They are affordable, easy to find, and accessible in any natural food store.

Final Message

Every woman should have these three seeds at home.

Use them consistently for 30 days and then come back and tell me how you feel. I’m confident you’ll notice:

  • Less inflammation
  • Better digestion
  • More energy
  • Better hormonal balance
